  1. I used VirtualDubMod to save a section of a .VOB as an .avi file. Then I extracted the audio to a .wav file. I want to recombine them to playback as an MPEG-2 file. But, my editor (Vegas 6) dosen't seem to recognize .wav files though.

Do I need to convert the .wav file to another audio format in order to integrate it with the video ? Is there another tool that extracts the audio/video
at the same time so that that they can be easily recombined?

    Thanks.

  3. Thanks for your suggestion but...

Is demuxing something I have to do in order to select a section of a VOB (both the audio and video)? because that's what I want. I don't care if the saved selection is .avi, .vob mpg or some other format, as long as the sound is present in the playback.
