hello i have an issue with some of my vhs tapes that i am trying to convert with a standalone dvd recorder (in my case, a panasonic). for some of them, the playback is fine when not passing through the dvd recorder. when it passes through the dvd recorder, i get occasional vertical jitter. my guess is it happens only in certain cases where i have tapes recorded once in ep mode and then recorded again in ep mode. what would fix this? i tried these tapes with a different dvd recorder and got the same exact jitter.

    thanks!
