Maybe I'm just not able to find the right setting in the above titled software even though I've used many versions over the years. The program always assumes my inputted DVD is 30 fps not 29.97 so after I get the srt, I have to run it thru some other software program and tell it to convert 30fps to 29.97.
Is there a setting in DVDSubEdit to tell it that the input is not 30 fps?
Tony
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

In File->Preferences there's a box you can check to force it to use drop-frame time code. Try that.

Thanks...... Seems to have fixed the problem. Even after reading the DVDSubEdit
manual I still couldn't find where they mentioned it.

You're welcome.
It was only implemented in the most recent version, well after the manual was written (and never updated, apparently).
