So I'm using CyperLink PowerDirector and it seems great.
However... (and I'm sure this is REALLY basic stuff) when I try and drop in a few videos, edit and produce in either quicktime or MPEG4, I will either have sound but not video or it won't open and play at all.
The videos I'm uploading are all shot from my iPhone 6.
I feel like I should be producing to a different type of format (mp4, .mov, etc...) but I have no clue what.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Can't you see the export settings you are using in powerdirector? You should be able to set video codec(use 264/avc), audio codec(use aac or mp3), container(use mp4). If not then get something else...
You could use mediainfo on the file you have made and see what video and audio codecs it contains.
WHat are you playing the video on? -
Here's a snapshot of the information: http://screencast.com/t/jF3lGjQCEav
Here's a snapshot of the page where I produce it and what I chose (see dropdown in the picture): http://screencast.com/t/5keydHnjGwO5
When I produced this video through PowerDirector, I got no sound.
Please let me know if you need anything else or what I should do.
Thanks!
Adam
