  1. Hi thanks for helping me I need to get a working video editor I tried dloading sveral on this new tower already and none of them will even run... it is windows 7 ...

    My old computer is broken now and it was windows XP I use to use a lot of windows movie maker ....

    I am having trouble navigating google to find any will someone please help thnx ...

    (the only one of 10 of the programs I tried to get working wouldn't work except a trail version but it leaves water marks and it is hard to use) ... if only icould use windows movie maker again ....

    You might like Windows Movie Maker 2.6. It is similar to the old Windows Movie Maker.

    The scan I did with VirusTotal reported the download is clean

    [Edit]The above may only work with Windows 7 32-bit. If you have Windows 7 64-bit, try the 64-bit version of Windows Movie Maker 6 instead.

    Thanx for those links, the recommendation, and for taking the trouble to scan them.
    I'm still pleased with Machete as my multi-purpose 'Go To', for most basic functions in this category. (If it handled .MPG format as well, that would be even better. But if they haven't covered that by now, it's likely they would not bother doing so.)
