problem playing newer mkv files

hi

i have a problem playing newer mkv files

they play fine in media player classic

but in zoomplayer 5 and ms media player every few moments the screen turns a green,red,purple and blue color
you can still see the video scene but its one color

after a few seconds the color fades and you have a normal color again but this happens several time during play back

i also have a media player connected to the tv and there the video file freezes at the first frame and only the audio does work

i tried mkvtoolnix with a few settings changes but no luck changing it

did someone have a the same problem and manange to fix it

or does someone know the solution

i would appreciate some help i dont see to get anywhere

Please post a MediaInfo report about one of those "new" MKVs.

Perhaps you have some "10-bit" encodes, and the decoders of the other players cannot deal with that
