  1. Hi
Does anyone know how to adjust the tracking on a DCR-TRV350 camcorder? I have old 8mm tapes that were recorded on a different machine and they won't play properly on my newer camcorder. I am open to disassembly etc.

    Thanks

    SUPER BUMP!!!!

I recently dusted off our old DCR-TRV350 that we bought on eBay to transfer old family movies, and the tracking is horrible! It worked great when we first got it, but since we move every 3 years or so, I think it just got banged around by the movers.

Anybody know anything about making adjustments to the heads on camcorders? Specifically Sony? I looked at just buying another 350, but even with all the HD camcorders out there, people are asking a lot for these old things (probably because people like me need them!).

    Thanks!
