    Hi
    "Pass Thru" presets for WinFF.

    These can be used...
    1. To extract the audio track from files.
    2. To re-mux files in different containers.

Latest version of WinFF for Windows and Linux is available from here ---> http://winff.org/html_new/

    To import the presets...
Unzip the file in the attachment below.
    Filename is "pass_thru_presets.wff".

(There is also a package named "OLD_pass_thru_presets.wff")
(This is for any Linux users who have old versions of FFmpeg installed)

    Then...
    WinFF > Edit > Presets > Import
    Then SAVE.

    The presets are:-

    Pass Thru avi
    Pass Thru flv
    Pass Thru flv(Audio)
    Pass Thru m4a
    Pass Thru m4v
    Pass Thru mka
    Pass Thru mkv
    Pass Thru mov
    Pass Thru mp3
    Pass Thru mp4
    Pass Thru mp4(Audio)
    Pass Thru ogg
    Pass Thru wma

More information about creating WinFF presets is here ---> http://code.google.com/p/winff/wiki/HowToMakePresets

    Additional information added...

When using "PassThru" presets with WinFF, some files give errors:-
"Application provided invalid, non monotonically increasing dts to muxer in stream..."

A workaround is to use VLC instead of WinFF.

Use latest version of VLC from here ---> http://www.videolan.org/
Run it from the command line ---> http://wiki.videolan.org/Terminal

    Use commands like this:-
    Code:
    vlc foo.flv --sout="#std{access=file,mux=avi,dst='foo.avi'}" vlc://quit
    and this:-
    Code:
    vlc foo.flv --sout="#std{access=file,mux=mp4,dst='foo.mov'}" vlc://quit
    and this:-
    Code:
    vlc foo.flv --sout="#std{access=file,mux=mp4,dst='foo.mp4'}" vlc://quit
Also, "PassThru avi" and "PassThru mov" and "PassThru mp4" presets can be added to VLC.
(Media > Convert/Save... "Keep original video track" and "Keep original audio track")

I don't think you can add any aspect ratio in a flv. Add it in the player or make a mp4 or mkv with 16:9 display aspect ratio.

If you want to resize the video you must reconvert.
