  1. Hey all,
Something weird happened with my laptop yesterday, it kinda died on me, windows wouldn't load and it was giving me Error 0xc00000e9.
Anyways, i somehow managed to convert my HDD's type (That it was wanting!) and re did the windows today morning. I was worried about my HDD's health, so i downloaded HD tune. It is giving the following readings:

My HDD is hardly a year old (bought a new laptop about a year ago). It's a Hitachi HTS545050A7E380 (500GB). Please guide me through. Thanks!

Looks like it is overheating. Check the cooling, especially filters and fans. If you can't do that yourself, try Geek Squad or some other similar outfit.
