    if any one can give me some tips for better quality on youtube...

  2. shoot HDV 25p. encode to .mp4 - h264 with aac audio at 1280x720 25p with a bitrate around 6mbps. large files but you can upload up to 1 GB and youtube will create HQ and HD videos from it.

    i went and looked at the hd version. it's not bad, i'd say to pay more attention to the white balance. snow is very hard to shoot, and it's grey instead of white half the time. the first transition is not good, with black frames alternating with white. camera seems to work fine.
