    Hi,
since last days I gone with VirtualDub to make all my AVI conversion. Now, I need to convert MKV to DivX. So, I try AviDemux, and his XviD conversion seems to be better...

So, my Stand Alone Player Sony prefer ONLY DivX. With a simple FourCC conversion, I can see very well any H.263 video (XviD included).

But, I need to known the various voice in the Configure window for the video compression of AviDemux. In particular, I need to know which configuration must be do so the XviD can be player very well in a Stand Alone Player. Anyone of you can help me, or can U say me some web page where can I find information about the detailed configuration for XviD?

    thanks a lot

Many new players can handle all the Xvid options except frame sizes over 720x576, Xvid's 3 warp point GMC, and bitrates over 8000 or so kbps from a DVD, over 20,000 kbps on a flash/hard drive.
