Hello, after some months without encoding, i started encoding again but when i tried to encode a mkv video with soft subs to a mp4 with hard subs an error showed up(video encoding frozen in 0.00% and then after 10 minutes aborts the encoding)... i used to use Xvid4PSP 5.10 before, doing the same process without problems, but now i cant encode mkv to mp4. I think the problem is that i changed w8 to w8.1 because when i had w8.0 this problem never showed up. Questions are:
Does any body else has this problem or its a problem related to my pc???
Does this problem has a solution???

    Thanks.

Did you install avisynth? It's included in xvid4psp 5 setup.
Can you preview the video in xvid4psp 5?

Yes, xvid4psp installed avisynth 2.6 and also i have installed 2.5.8. If you mean there is a conflict, i can tell that i unistalled avisynth 2.5.8, re installed xvid4psp and nothing changed.
Yes, i can preview the video after applying settings.

Have you tried with a different video source? It might just be a problem with that mkv.
