I reinstalled Windows 7 as usual and as I do several years ago.
But this time, the files with extension SRT had a blue icon and now they have a white icon and there are any program present to open them easily! What can I do to put back the anterior situation for ALL the files with that extension?
When I try to open those files it doesn't appear the usual window with "Choose default program" but a window "File type helper"!!!
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Try ExtensionManager, it's in English, too.

Uninstall File type helper from Control panel -> Programs and Features
and Set in Default Programs Editor to always open Choose default program for Unknown type files:

Thanks to everyone that helped me.
I solved the problem with the suggestion of netmask56.
roma_turok : I installed Default Programs Editor but the respective window already shows " ... Disable ... ". -
