m3u8 streaming recording problem

I was able to record this stream ( http://www.utopiatv.nl/live/overview/clip/2015-06-08 ) until some weeks ago, with Replay Media Catcher 5. Now RMC detects the stream but can't record it and gives me a file of 0 byte. I tried with RMC 6 too and it's the same. Somebody can tell me what happened?

Question: I downloaded and installed livestreamer and then opened command line ( start>run> cmd) and pasted in the code that you gave:

Something seemed to download (see screenshot red circle). The number in the red circle kept increasing, but I could not find where the downloaded video was going in the computer. Where can I find the downloaded video 97 mb? I eventually closed the command window. Never could find the downloaded video.

OK, I found the video here ( see screenshot, red circles, 196 mb video), however it wouldn't play with vlc or Media Player Classic Home Cinema. I did close out the cmd window before the video finished downloading. Question: why doesn't the video play?
Another question: how can I change the above code to download the smallest file size (worst video quality)? The code you gave seems to download the largest file size (best video quality).
EDIT. ok I just typed in "worst" (see below code) and now seems to be downloading the smallest bit rate. Still don't know if the downloaded video will play.
