  1. Hi,
MediaInfo tells me that the MPEG-dash files from youtube have variable framerate. Is that really correct?

    Thanks

Why wouldn't it be possible? The mpeg-dash is a container with several video streams(with for example different bitrates).

  4. Hey,
There is no video standard with the following kind of framerate. Then I thought it could be possible that MediaInfo can't read MPEG-dash files properly, but now I think these files are encoded wrong.

    Video

    Format : AVC
    Format/Info : Advanced Video Codec
    Format profile : High@L4.0
    Format settings, CABAC : Yes
Format settings, ReFrames : 3 frames

    Height : 1 080 pixels
    Display aspect ratio : 16:9
    Frame rate mode : Variable
    Frame rate : 23.976 fps
Minimum frame rate : 23.974 fps
    Maximum frame rate : 4 090.909 fps
    Color space : YUV
    Chroma subsampling : 4:2:0

  5. While downloading scanning the incomplete only videostream mp4 file is constant 23,976. I don't get that. Maybe the files are encoded OK?
    I use Lite version 0.7.65
