i did a format to my camcorder hdr sr-12 by a mistake and i wanted to know how can i use the camcorder again, i do not need any data recovery just want to film again.
when i press record it says "hdd format error"
i tried to do format in a different way and nothing changed
what do i need to do? can you help me please?

I think you reformatted using a computer. Instead, go to the camcorder menu and reformat using the camcorder.
