I'm looking for a program that will take an AVI with PCM and convert it to DVD with PCM.

i don't use it but maybe tmpgenc dvd author. most "authoring" programs take already rendered dvd spec mpeg-2 and audio to create dvds. they mostly don't do the encoding from avi to mpeg-2.

Simple enough, just don't convert the audio when you encode the video. Extract (Demux) the audio with something like VirtualDub or AVIDemux and add it back in when you author. You realize you will have the deduct the size of the PCM audio from the available video size when your re-encode the video? It may take a sizable chunk out of your available video size (Bitrate) if you are converting to DVD. Any particular reason you want PCM audio over a much more compact format like AC3?

Of course if your video file is fairly short, less than an hour, PCM may fit in without much, or minimal, video quality loss.

I like it for concert videos. Otherwise AC3 is fine.
