    Hi,

I posted this earier but semms it was not accepted, so I post it again.

I followed the DVD Authoring guide using TMPGEnc DVD AUther posted here:
    http://www.dvd-guides.com/content/view/53/59/.

However, after the DVD folders (AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS) were created, I can play the movie using PowerDVD player V5.0. Except that the main menu was displayed briefly withou my having able to select "play all" or "chapter selection" menu.

Next I noticed that when I poped up the PowerDVD menu, the "Select Menu" menu item was disabled!

Any suggestion to read for properly creating the DVD Menu?

    Thanks!

Are you sure you are playing the Authored DVD using the option 'Open DVD File on Hard Disk Drive' and not just playing the VOB files with the 'Open Media Files' option in PowerDVD?

I drag the folder which contain the AUDIO_TS and VIDEO_TS subfolders. Within the VIDEO_TS folder contains the usual VOBs and IFO files.

I am going to try later to open the DVD foler instead of dropping it to see if there is any different.

    Thanks!

My bad! It never occurred to me that there is a different if you use PowerDVD to open a hard-drive DVD image vs drag-and drop that image to the player.

I did as suggested by bunyip and sure it now with "select menu" enabled.

    Thanks!
