    Hi everybody ,

    I tried to encode a .ts file ( from 1980 to 720 ) , those size is about 8,4 GB .
I made all required settings and it shows me 4,372,895 frames to be processed.
The time ??? Well , at least 34 hours.. using RipBot 264

Is this situation a normal one ???
What should I do to accelerate the whole process of encoding ??

A 50 hour movie(4.3 million frames/24fps/3600)? So Ripbot264 probably reads the length incorrect. Maybe try something else staxrip, handbrake, etc.

Or if you want to use ripbot264 maybe try "repair" the ts, run it through tsmuxer and make a new ts for example.

It sounds like transmission errors in the file. I would suggest running it through ProjectX in demux mode (only this mode repairs) and gets rid of junk. Then remux and then with the new mpeg file convert it to whatever you want.
