    Hello
I am new to Blu - ray burning.

    My equipment -
    i7
    6 gig ram
1 terabyte hard drive with 75% space
    LG Super Multi Blue burner
9800 GT EVA video card with one gig ram
    Slysoft Any DVD,
    Slysoft Clone DVD2
    Nero 9

On my first time to copy a new Disney Blu-ray I tied my Slysoft Clone DVD2 software and it would not recognize the disk.

Next, I tried on my NERO 8 software. I clicked on "Copy Disk". It copied the original disk onto my hard drive........... then it asked me for a blank disk to copy to. I put in a new Sony 25 gig BD-R and I received this message "There is not enough space to burn the compilation to this disk."

How do I copy a factory Bu-Ray disk? What am I doing wrong?

  2. Procedure to copy blu ray to a blank bd25 disc.

Use anydvd hd to copy to hard drive.
Use BDRB to compress to BD25 size.
Use Imgburn to burn to BD25 disc.

    As easy as 1,2,3

Sorry this is far too complex for me. the BDRB is a beta and requires other soft wares.

Is there an easier way to copy a Blu -Ray? There must be!

Why doesn't the Slysoft software do this?

Sounds like you're "far too lazy" to look through this site that has a wealth of knowledge and a plethora of tools. Did you look at any of the guides that were on the download page for BDRB? Also, did you use the pane on the left side of your labeled "How To". Here's one of them:

BDRB: Requires ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and avisynth. I consider those tools pretty much essential to working with any BD/HD material. And I don't even use BDRB. You can also use tsMuxeR and just select the main movie and the AC3 6ch track and the video may fit on a BD RW without any 'shrinking'. I can usually drop 5GB off the file with just that. It only takes a few minutes. If you re-encode the file(s), it will take several hours.

Sure, you only need slysoft anydvd if you want to buy BD50 discs!

  9. Yes, you could but I doubt it will play in any standalone player. You would have to make a custom menu to navigate to each title in order for it to be playable on a blu ray player.

Long as there backed up im not too worried, & its only for PC playback, I think Powerdvd would just play them 1 after the other?

    cheers.

    Thank you very much.

    I am looking for a
simple way to way to copy a Blu-Ray DVD disk (titles and all).

    QUESTION: Does this
AVS Disk Copy have a "Fit to Disk " feature? What I mean is that ..........will this AVS DVD Copy software automatically set itself for the best video and audio settings and compress the DVD files to fit a blank 25 gig BD-R Blu-Ray disc if the size is too large?

    Thank you,
    tryin' bryan
