I only want to export only a portion of my project from the timeline. I'm sure it's very simple, but how?? I've tried online help plus my old Premiere 6.0 manual to no avail. I've tried to define a work area by setting in and out points, but it wants to export the entire project--also tried markers but same result. I'm sure it's very simple but how??? Help!!! Thanks in advance.

wwaag,
Under export settings, there are two options: export entire timeline and export work area. Make sure that you export the work area. -
I've done just that--selected work area. Bottom line--how do you define the work area??

Finally figured it out. Pretty simple "once" you know how to do it. Thanks again.
