I record on my pc, trough the Terratec H5 and DVB Viewer 5.0 everything runs perfect. with my DVB-C and DVB-T channels.
But the other day I wanted to record I noticed that I lost the coax cable.
I will make a mark on it on the picture http://gratisupload.dk/billede/thumb/712502/full/
Then I found this : http://www.av-connection.dk/?PNo=06-177

Terratec calls the item that you lost an MCX to IEC adapter. The replacement part that you picked is an MCX to IEC adapter, but I think the MCX end is the wrong gender. The MCX connector on the the small antenna included with the device is female, from what I see. The MCX ends of the replacement adapter looks to be female as well. If so, the two MCX connectors won't fit together.
You need an adapter with a male MCX connection if the antenna has a female MCX connector. I think that this is the type of adapter you need.http://www.maczone.cz/elgato-iec-mcx-adapter-pro-tunery-elgato-diversity-elg-iec-mcx_d3071.html -

The Hauppauge PCTV TripleStick T2 292e DVB-C/T/T2 is strictly a digital tuner with no ability to capture analog video. The Terratec H5 could capture analog video as well as digital TV. It is wWindows 8 compatible, according to Hauppauge. The bundled TVCenter software is apparently buggy. Since the earlier version of this device (PCTV nanoStick T2 292e) worked with Windows Media Center, this new version might work with other third-party software like DVBViewer too.

I cannot help you because I don't know the TV tuner products available where you live. Plus, the USA uses the ATSC system for over-the-air TV, not DVB, so we have a different selection of products here.
Why not take the Terratec H5 TV tuner and its antenna to an electronics store and ask the staff to help you find an adapter for what you already have?Last edited by usually_quiet; 30th Jul 2014 at 06:58. Reason: clarity
