    Hi,

    Which are difference with AVCHD relaxed and strict mode?

  6. Strict mode uses static menus, 1 chapter page with 12 chapter thumbs, no popup menu, no titlelist menu, no motion menu/chapters, no setup menu, works with Panasonic players.

    Hi, Dean.

    I've been using AVCHD Strict mode...for my Philips Blu-ray Disc player BDP3000 and never the relaxed mode...so, if better used Relaxed mode for many BD players includend mine? or is limited? I want a full setup menu, pop up menu and more function but I've been thinking that the best mode is AVCHD Strict...

  8. It is better to use AVCHD relaxed. It works in ALL players EXCEPT the Panasonic ones.

    Hi, Dean.

    Thanks for your help.

    [AVCHD for DVD/BD-R]
    * Long filenames
    * UDF 2.50/2.60 file system required
    * Supports menu
    * Complies with AVCHD version 1
    * Stricter AVCHD folder format option is recommended (only standard folders)
    * Media: DVD-R/DVD-RW/DVD+RW/BD-R/BD-RE
    * Playback compatibility: Playstation 3 and most Blu-ray players via optical media, software players

    For this reason I just used Stricter...I guess I was confused....

  14. When you click a title name (or [properties]) you'll see a chapter list and "Chapters" tab. There you can put as many chapters as you wish.
