    yeah bro.

dvd2svcd is a program that will call all these other programs to do what you want. it still takes as long, but you don't have to mess with it so much.

there is such a thing as mpeg5.1 audio, but few if any dvd players support it, and only some $800 kenwood receivers cna decode it bro.

no dolby digital or dts yo.

  4. Here is the link to the DVD2SVCD faq/Q&Q with all download links as well as a complete software package w/install (except CCE 2.5 and I-Author of course). Give it a try. It is a braindead way to make super HQ svcds. It uses the latest 'leet AvuSynthMMX and mpeg2Dec methods for frameserving. This gets cce 2.5 pass speed up to real time on *some* 1+ mhz machines. The quality is "dvd like" and sound is as good as it comes right now. It supports multiple audio tracks and multiple subtitles and has an NTSC to Pal conversion feature that is pretty unique.

by the way you should not convert to dvd to divx and then to vcd. divx is not needed, and will crappen your quality
