Not sure if these type of posts are permissible or not, but I know folks from time to time are looking for and asking about VHS recommendations and such for part of their restoration efforts. I just saw a JVC HR-S3900U SVHS VCR on sale on ebay, here: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=130350615382&ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT
Seems the seller is getting rid of his electronic equipment. I ended up buying the SIMA GO CT-2 which as any one knows is almost impossible to find.

The 3900 is a low-end VCR, good for recording. Worth $50, sure.
Sima Go CT-2 isn't anything special either.Want my help? Ask here! (not via PM!)
