I've had the above camcorder since 2009. We record onto the hard drive in widescreen at the best quality so can get about an 1h50 on it. About two years ago when it got full I backed it all up, using the automatic dubbing feature where it prompts you to change discs, onto 6 mini DVD-RWs using the built in DVD recorder (formatting the DVDs in VR mode). This worked fine and I wiped the hard drive.
Now it is full again and I've tried to the exact same process on the same kind of DVDs but it doesn't work- it records about a minute onto the DVD, which plays back fine, but won't go any further and says "dubbing not complete". Even if I do the more lengthy process of selecting the scenes and dubbing each DVD separately it will only do up to about a minute and gives the same error message.
Any suggestions?! Thanks very much for reading.
