putting divx. dvd rip. avi onto dvd/cd

hiya guys..probably easy for you,but not for me..heres my poser(bein a newbie)...im d/loading film in the format above,its 780004kb...now..when its done,wot do i need to do to copy(burn) onto dvd or cd?....ive got studio 8, iomega hotburn,sonic mydvd,aint got much else in programmes,wot do i need,and in wot stages do i do it in....now,nice n easy on me..and i,ll buy the rounds all night...waitin in anticipation with dictionary..do me proud.

What you need to do is start reading. What you are asking for cannot be answered in a few lines with any sort of guarantee so you need to read and learn some of the techniques used for video conversion, then when you get stuck come back and ask specific questions.

To make a dvd the easiest method (one which I use)

Virtual Dub - Bad Frames - Extract Audio - Check File Information - Frameserve

Tmpgenc - Convert to dvd standard mpeg 2

Tmpgenc Dvd Author - Create Audio and Video_ts folders

Nero 6 - Burn
