HD Writer recognition problem

Hi guys.

I've just installed HD Writer 4.0 into my Windows 7 computer.
I've started hunting for all video files on my computer and I am able to find my Panasonic Camcorder's AVCHD files easily.

BUT my HD Writer program cannot find any of the MP4 files or MPG files in the computer.

Even though I can use Windows search bar to to easily find and play these files, HD Writer can't seem to find them and give me icons of the files(even though it's got the ability to do it).

Any suggestions?
