I have a Cyberhome CH-DVD 500 and the PAL to NTSC conversion is most excellent.

Very happy with it for that reason.

For more info on Cyberhome DVD players including code free hacks etc. check out the NERD-OUT website.

  4. I have the 400. It's an excellent machine, will play any damn thing you stick into it and is so small it's almost a portable! And only fifty quid from WH Smiths. Cyberhome is a German brand but the machines are made in China. The main website is www.cyberhome-europe.de and the "hack" website is www.cyberhome-help.de

  5. I bought the Cyberhome 400 from WH Smiths after Xmas.
This machine plays allsorts of files even mpegs straight of the cdr
    Jpeg,mp3,wma,vcd,svcd,skvcd,kvcd,sxvcd,xvcd and probably more
It also shows the bitrate for mp3's and vcd's
It has several sound effects like Hall,Arena, etc
It is as the other guy said VERY small, as is the remote
I did have a Pacific 1002W from adsa but took it back, this is a lot better.

CyberHome are replacing dead DVD 400's - and maybe others too.

    Tel: 0870 013 7625

I called today (Friday) and another is coming out on Monday!

(mine was from WHSmiths for £50 and is completely dead)
