  1. I tried using FreeMake Video Converter but I don't like it because it changes the font and the size. Is there a way to keep the original size and font using FreeMake Video Converter? Can anyone suggest a better software?

Nope. You can't change it or keep it with freemake.

What is the subtitle format? srt, ssa/ass?

Most converters use standards fonts. If you use ass/ssa subtitle with fonts settings you might be able to use virtualdub or avidemux to burn in subs with custom fonts.

  4. In MediaCoder you can set font, size, position etc. for .srt

Srt has no font settings so you must adjust that in the converter. Freemake supports that already(at least according to the changelog).

    Or use mediacoder as suggested.
