  1. I am trying to edit out credits out of some stuff from the source files of rips that I did & its not doing it perfectly. Is there a reliable tool out there for this ? I am trying MPEG-VCR but I have no idea on what option to save for "LOSSLESS" editing. I just want to input video & cut what I dont want & export & not lose any quality

  2. If your VOB files are part of a DVD you can remove the credits using VobBlanker. But only on GOP boundaries (roughly every half second). There's a guide to doing it here:

If the credits are their own cell, it may be as easy as blanking the cell.

Otherwise something like MPEG2CUT2 can remove credits from MPGs and VOBs, again on GOP boundaries, and it'll save it as an MPG (but without reencoding). You said you were having trouble doing it 'perfectly', so maybe you need to do it from specific frames. That gets a little more tricky.
