    Hi,

    I have gone over most of the threads, used the tips and the programs (WM Recorder, VCL, SDP downloader, Net Transport, ORBIT, and REAL player) but have not been able to get the file bellow.

    This wmv file is ina site for which i have the username and password.

    The main problem is that none of the programs above are able to get the wmv file.

    If you guys (gals) have any ideas or direct me me to the rigth path, please share!!

    Thanks!!!

    Did you try WebVideoCap or maybe VideoCacheView?

    Caple - Thank you for the suggestion, but both programs did not work. The cache file apperas to be something else, it is only 308K and this video is a much larger (MB's) file.

    Any more ideas?

    Without the address and the username/password, we can't be of any help at all.

    The only thing I can suggest is a screen capture software.

    EDIT: I didn't see any mention of Urlsnooper2 in yout first post. I doubt it will work either but might be worth a try. A lot of websites make it impossible to get the movie file.

    After file loaded and played, did you check your temp internet file folder?
    You should see the file in that folder.
    Tools->Internet Options->Browser History: Settings->View Files

  6. In orbit, if you click the "more" button when you have the download box, you will get extended options under the "general" tab. Check "login to server" and enter your login/password.

    Cheers

    Not necessarily, you can define the length of time a file should be cached or if it should be cached at all by the browser.
