dark video help

Hello I have 11min worth of video I was wondering if anyone could help me to lighten it up I have no hardware or computer that is capable...was shot on a Sony handy cam converted to mp4 only have tablet to view on....any one help me out?

Baldrick, it WAS personal. But I can say that the footage did not reveal anything even close to what the OP was thinking it was.

I suspect the others are right but I'll take a look. But be sure that what you upload isn't re-encoded. Doing so may remove any dark detail that could otherwise be restored.

Maybe edit the video? software like Sony Vegas can play on the brightness and there are a lot of contrast that can lighten a little, too.

Well I have not so dark video clip that seems like they were trying to hide something ....anyone see what in here hand switch at around 11sec
