Please advise.
I burnt old iMovie HD projets to DV (full quality) for archival purposes.
Later I created Disc Images from the DV's, using these settings in Toast 10:
When played on my iMac the SD video's from the disc images look like they should:

But, when burnt to DVD (again by using Toast), they look bad on my standalone DVD-players. There's some flickering, a stroboscopic effect:

Any idea what's wrong?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

Your field dominance is wrong. Don't set it to automatic.
Edit: just double checked your clips with Mediainfo. The bad clip is top field first, set your encoder to to lower or bottom field first.Last edited by smrpix; 6th Apr 2014 at 06:34.
