Hello, all. I've tried digging around, but I've never been able to find a straight answer for my issue, so I figured I'd ask here!
I have used mkvmerge from mkvtoolnix to make two versions of one video and try to work it into my DVD authoring program.
My issue: the subtitles I need are extracted as mks files and I need to have them in an srt file format, but I can't seem to figure out a way to convert them into that.
Does anyone happen to have an idea of what to do?
Try StreamFab Downloader and download from Netflix, Amazon, Youtube! Or Try DVDFab and copy Blu-rays! or rip iTunes movies!

If they are soft subtitles, use mkvextractgui-2
If they are hardsubs, you cannot extract them (they are burned into the picture) -
Thank you very much! That tool did the trick. Had to extract them as .ass files and then convert them over to .srt but it seems to have worked!
