Wife is buying me another 1TB hard drive. Here are my options:

Seagate 10005FPA1E3 1TB FreeAgent Pro External Hard Drive - Windows / Macintosh - SAG 10005FPA1E3

Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus 1TB Hard Drive - MXR 1TBPLUS

Western Digital WDH2Q10000N My Book Studio II 1TB External Dual-Drive - WD WDH2Q10000N

Which one would be the best or it doen't really make a difference. Thanks for any opinion.

Seagate and Maxtor have been reliable for me. Go with the best price. Western Digital? It had a fine reputation in the old days, but those drives have caused me the most grief. (Although I have no experience with any recent models; certainly not in the tetrabyte catagory.)

The performance specs on the Seagate drive are the fastest.
