I used H2 to take the commercials out of a double episode (2 hrs) of an OTA HD capture. I also split into two 1 hr episodes with H2. When I drop the first episode into SVCD2DVD (less than 1 hr.) it shows the time as being 1:59:12 and it shows the file being over the DVD-5 limit. Is there a program that will correct the timecode?

    Yep.

(Assuming you are talking about HD Transport Streams):

Grab the latest VideoReDo Plus and use its "Quick StreamFix":

Make sure you chose Transport Stream in the output dialog:

    Then try the fixed file.

Thank you. I will do that. But, dosn't VRD duplicate what SVCD2DVD does? If that's true, It's a one button solution for HDTV.ts files to DVD compliant VOB's. Even removes the commercials....

Not to my knowledge but i could be wrong....

It may produce a program stream with a vob extension (with navigation packets) but i am not sure it will resize to 720*480 and reduce the bitrate to within the DVD specs...

Ok. Try the demo first. If that works for you then I would recommend buying it as it is one of the finest bits of software I own.
