    i was trying to transfer a DV tape to a PC using MainConcept capture and my Sony DCR-TRV350. when i viewed the transferred file on my PC, it has clips and pops in it. can anyone help me fix this? should I use another program?

    Try WinDV to transfer. If you still get the popping, maybe try a different cable.

    i captured using Windows Movie Maker....which captures using the Microsoft DV Codec, type 1 only.....it seems to be ok.
