    Hi everyone!

What are the best tutorials out there for AviSynth? For example: Here at VH and Doom9.org has tutorials for encoding and so on. Does any site or forum have execllent tutorials for AviSynth?

    the wiki is useful,

    http://avisynth.org/mediawiki/Main_Page

providing useful links to some guides as well.

    like this:
    http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/capture/postprocessing_avisynth.html

    and READFAG:
    http://www.animemusicvideos.org/guides/avtech/

    and scintilla's guide:
    http://www.aquilinestudios.org/avsfilters/

and the forums you mention have solutions to individual problems,
    define your situation,
    and search!!

  3. I don't think you'll find AviSynth tutorials, as such. AviSynth is a tool that is used when trying to achieve a specific goal. Try looking for tutorials on what you want to accomplish, then see if AviSynth is listed as one of the tools used.

I found a good deblocker filter.

It's called SmoothD. Just use SmoothD(2,6,0,1) and I use Multipass and 1 pass takes only about 5 or 6 hours. If that is not slow then try changing the 6 to either a 7 or 8. I haven't tried the 7 or 8 yet but I think the slowest it goes it will lose detail!
