    Is there a way to record protected content from my DISH Vip722 box to my Sony DVD recorder? I have composite cables going from the DISH box to the Sony DVD-R, Do I need some device for protected content? Do I need a composite TBC? Any input appreciated.
    It's not important the problem be solved, only that the blame for the mistake is assigned correctly

    Are you getting a copyright warning when you attempt to record? Then yes, you need something to remove the "don't record" signal. A Grex Video Stabilizer might work.
