  1. i have some mkv files i am trying convert to avi so i can stream from my pc to my xbox no dual audio or subs i have tried many different settings and the audio is always out of sync in the avi any way to fix this or maybe a different program i should use

    my mkv files had the avc codec so i downloaded xvid4psp put my files in set the format to avi hardware hd set video encoding to xvid hq ultra set audio encoding to mp3 cbr 128k hit settings next to encoding set the encoding mode to 3 pass quality and i set the quantizer to 2.5 i tried the quantizer on 3 and on 1 for 3 i got a bigger file than with 2.5 but with but the quality was the same as 2.5 on 1 the file was a little bigger than the input file the quality was good but the black backgrounds had artifacts
