  1. I keep trying and I constantly get errors.

Is there a specific program that has to be installed for it to work?

  4. If it cannot, then why is that one of the options?

And, again I ask, if it cannot encode to it, why is that listed as an encoding option?

  7. It's meant for demuxing. The GUI doesn't neceesarily reflect what eac3to.exe can or cannot do.

You cannot encode DTS-MA or TrueHD with eac3to

    Notice TrueHD isn't listed

Then it shouldn't even be listed as an option to "save to." That's just stupid. Thanks...

Are there any programs that DO encode?

No free ones for TrueHD, you need one of the Dolby Suite encoders
