  3. Tweak is a built-in avisynth function which can be used to adjust the saturation, contrast, and brightness.
    http://avisynth.nl/index.php/Tweak

    Tweak(sat=1.0, cont=1.0, bright=0.0, coring=false)

    Put the above at the end of a script and adjust the values to taste.

    ColorYUV can adjust the gamma, amongst other things,

    I thought the same thing. The "A" pics could maybe use a bit of a tweak, but the "B" pics are horribly over-done.

  5. That's insane. But if you really must, this is about right in AviSynth:

    Code:
    Tweak(cont=1.5, bright=-23, sat=1.9)
    ColorMatrix("rec.709->rec.601")

    You can tweak them to perfection yourself. I'm not going to spend my time on your job.
