Like other people I need to download a video that is only visible online (in fact I would like to play this "little reportage" on my TV "). Small problem is that the site is very protected and is difficult to download this video, I tried a lot of software that have not worked, for ordinarily I download youtube videos or other sites with Internet Download Manager, download Helper or Freemake Video (...) but none works for it.. I tried some software that are able to download even with a "rtmp" but without success ...

Hi pal, I can't help you for now, but I can advise you. If the video is not ultra protected, you can use Download Helper (the software is safe and simple, don't worry) for download it. Or maybe Internet Download Manager can be effective.

Than it (rtmpdump helper) stopped working and i just started to use the rtmpdump command that follow and it keeps working perfectly:

Hi, I've been trying to download this video http://livestreamvod-f.akamaihd.net//events/00000000003934a6/9f8213fa-f405-4799-88af-8...9855a_1756.mp4 retrieving the link from http://api.new.livestream.com/accounts/11811902/events/3749030/videos/74802157.smil and opening it with a web browser, it shows 2GB size but in fact it should be more, as pictures (from the 2GB file) end after about 2h52min but the whole duration is 3h16min.
I've also tried with ffmpeg, but the resulting file doesn't play and MediaInfo shows "ID codec: isom".
Any help would be very appreciated.
