Obviously not from a video file, but from standard images, I'm trying to achieve the same results to post on a board and have it so, the picture will then have to be click on to be seen in its entirely.

ive changed the batteries so i know its not that. the input button is my livelihood as i cannot switch between my cable tv and my pc and what not..
anyways i really hope its not a tv sensor bar issue and that its just the matter of replacing the remote control itself..
again, its not just the input button that wont work, its all buttons that wont work about 80% of the time! very strange it seems...

My problem is when i convert a movie from DVD to MKV, the subtitles are grey filled and has white borderlines not verry readable.
The movie gives the correct colors in VLC mediaplayer, but not on Samsung TV.
Sometimes the subtitles are doable white filled and light grey border lines.

When i burned them in, they look fine, but thats not what i want, i like to turn them on and off like a DVD.
My TV plays the subtitles but in the wrong colors.

When i try them to correct by extracting them in idx/sub and change the color settings and merge them back in the mkv container. My TV doesn't recognized the subs anymore.
When i check them on PC it is the same file name as before when the TV read the subs before the extracting. Something like S_VSUB and the name of the movie.

SRT etc... is not realy an option, is good on PC but not on TV, because the subs are to small even on the largest settings on TV, still to small
and with white background not so good to read.
Anyone with the same problem and find out a solution? And have experiance with Samsung TV to correct this?

For Divx is a exellent tool AVIAddXSub where you can make the subs you want in collor and size, and muxing them back together.

Maybe drop MKV and go back to XVID due more support for stand alone players and subs you want?
If i was able to make bigger an subs with shadow on TV, i was just fine with SRT subs. But it isn't.

This has been fine until today, now when I try to convert an MKV that has a resolution of 1280x692 it says Transcoding=No - Status= Muxing straight away.

Now I KNOW this file needs transcoding to 1280x720 but it wont do it, I havn't changed any settings and so don't understand what has changed,

any help would be greatly appreciated, anyone else had this problem?

with some blocks going crazy

i don't want to fix the shirt effect

PS . the samples were cut with virualdub
the mediainfo comes from the source and not the sample

I desperately need to import this h264 ts file into sony vegas but no matter what I try it won't accept it. I've tried muxing it into different containers with tsmuxer and videoredo, and the closest I've gotten to it working is when I put it into an mp4 container but then Sony Vegas tells me I need to download and install quicktime, so I did, and then I try opening it again but it says the same thing...
